HSE Policy

At Vertech Group Pty. Ltd our most important value, above all other business objectives, is to care for each other and the environment. Accordingly the highest standards of health, safety and environmental responsibility are executed throughout the business and in the delivery of its products and services

We are committed to continuous improvement in HSE performance and to maintaining our record of zero harm to people and the environment.

We expect all of our employees and sub-contractors to buy into this HSE philosophy and demonstrate their commitment by following procedures, fulfilling statutory obligations and collaborating on all HSE matters.

Accordingly Vertech management is committed to the following:
        • Providing a safe and healthy workplace free of occupational injury and illness, for employees and for other people who may be affected by Vertech operations.
        • Complying with all legal and regulatory obligations with respect to HSE and workplace rehabilitation.
        • Working with clients to optimise HSE considerations in the planning and execution phases of every project
        • Constantly improving and enhancing HSE performance by establishing and monitoring objectives and targets.

These commitments are implemented through the HSE Management System as outlined in the HSE Management Procedures.

All employees and sub-contractors are required to:
        • Understand and accept their individual and shared responsibility for safety.
        • Implement the requirements of the HSE Management procedures relevant to their work.
        • Actively participate in risk management tools such as JHA’s and Toolbox Talks.
        • Ensure that working safely is part of normal operations.
        • Report any incidents or near misses in an open and transparent manner
